Almighty Assets and the Growing BillyMcDev Network

Over the years, my work has expanded into several different creative projects. Game development, 3D assets, programming, teaching, video content, streaming, and other interests have each developed their own identities and places online. While these projects cover different areas, they all have one thing in common: they're created by me, Billy McDaniel.

That's where BillyMcDev comes in. Rather than replacing any of the existing projects or changing their individual identities, BillyMcDev serves as an umbrella that helps connect everything I create under one recognizable name.

Where Almighty Assets Fits In

Almighty Assets isn't changing its identity. It remains focused on creating practical, game-ready 3D assets for developers, including modular environments, buildings, props, dungeon components, and other reusable resources.

What is changing is how Almighty Assets connects to the rest of my work. Instead of existing as an isolated project, it can now be viewed as one part of a larger collection of development and creative work published under the BillyMcDev name.

That collection includes projects such as Almighty Assets, Almighty Games, Square Forge, and my Udemy courses, along with development content shared through Twitch, YouTube, Patreon, GitHub, Reddit, LinkedIn, and other platforms.

Bringing Development Into the Open

One of the more visible parts of this effort is the new BillyMcDev Twitch stream. Streaming provides an opportunity to share more of the actual development process rather than only presenting finished products after the work is complete.

Depending on what I'm working on, that may include programming, game development, asset creation, website development, experimentation, troubleshooting, or work on one of my existing projects. Almighty Assets naturally fits into that process, so viewers may occasionally get a closer look at how assets and related projects are developed behind the scenes.

The same idea extends to YouTube and the other places where I share development work. Each platform serves a different purpose, but BillyMcDev provides a common identity that makes those different pieces easier to connect.

One Developer, Several Creative Outlets

I've never wanted every project I work on to become the same thing. Almighty Assets has its own purpose. Almighty Games has another. Square Forge, educational material, streaming, programming projects, and other work each have their own audiences and goals.

The purpose of BillyMcDev is not to erase those distinctions. It's simply a way to make the relationship between them clearer. Someone who discovers one project can more easily find the others, while each project remains free to maintain its own identity.

Looking Ahead

For Almighty Assets, this means continuing to do what it has always done: provide useful game-development assets while steadily improving the existing library and developing new content.

The difference is that there's now a broader home connecting that work with the other things I create. As BillyMcDev continues to develop, Almighty Assets will remain an important part of that larger network without losing the identity it has built over the years.

If you encounter the cowboy hat and gold star elsewhere, you'll know what it represents. It's another part of the same body of work, created under the BillyMcDev umbrella.
